The United States, a connoisseur of tea and a dominant player in the global market, stood as Brazil’s primary destination for tea exports, importing tea valued at $948k. Portugal, Marshall Islands, Liberia, and Canada also featured among the notable destinations for Brazilian tea, importing $27.4k, $25.9k, $21.9k, and $14.2k worth of tea, respectively.

The fastest-growing export markets for Brazil’s tea between 2020 and 2021 were Portugal, Nigeria, and Togo. Portugal’s affinity for Brazilian tea grew remarkably, resulting in an additional $18.4k of tea imports. Nigeria and Togo also embraced the flavors of Brazilian tea, importing an additional $12.2k and $9.98k worth, respectively.
